Coventry Weekend for Winton Band

The long-awaited visit of Winton Bournemouth Band (Bandmaster Norry Smith) to Coventry City Corps, 17 – 18 May 2014, was a great occasion. The visit was originally scheduled for March 2013, but had to be cancelled and rescheduled because of snow at that time. The rescheduled weekend fell on the warmest weekend of the year to date.  Read more

New Centre Dedicated in Coventry

The Salvation Army opened fire in Coventry in January, 1878. Since that time, the Coventry City Corps has remained a stronghold in the work. The Corps has recently completed construction on a new hall, which was formally dedicated on 2 July 2005.  Read more

Coventry City Carol Concert

The Coventry City Corps has temporarily relocated to the Coventry Methodist Central Hall, so this year’s Carol Concert was also moved from its normal venue at the Belgrade Theatre to the Central Hall. The concert was presented on 12 December 2004.  Read more
