23rd Annual Concert in West Wickham

The South London Fellowship Band (Musical Director Darrell Scholes) commenced its 23rd annual visit to Emmanuel United Reform Church, West Wickham on 17 March 2017 with My God and King, Paul Sharman’s prelude on the hymn tune “Luckington”, originally composed for the International Staff Band’s 120th anniversary celebration. This was one of several “first performances” for the Fellowship Band that evening.  Read more

Saturday, 3 October 2015 was the date of the last concert of a very busy season for the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Darrell Scholes). The setting was the Salvation Army hall in Horsham, which, although small, gave ample opportunity for the Fellowship Band to display its versatility and control in style and substance.  Read more

Twentieth Annual Concert at West Wickham

The annual program at Emmanuel United Reformed Church, West Wickham, by the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Darrell Scholes) is always an occasion looked forward to – by the band, members of the church and by the many friends of the band. This year’s concert was held on Friday, 13 March 2015, with guest cornet soloist Ryan Coates from Croydon Citadel and guest vocalists, the Atkinson Sisters.   Read more

The last day of February 2015 was damp and grey around Bexleyheath, but there was warmth, light and a great welcome for the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Darrell Scholes) as they presented a program in Bexleyheath Corps’ temporary quarters, Bexleyheath Methodist Church. In aid of the BexleyHeath Corps Building Fund, the concert was shared with Bexleyheath Singing Company (Leader Rachel Gash).  Read more

On the weekend of 27 – 28 September 2014, the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Darrell Scholes) celebrated its 20th anniversary.
