The Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) gathered on 1 May 2004 with guest soloists Curtis Metcalf (euphonium) and Jens Lindemann (trumpet), for a concert celebrating the band’s 35th anniversary.
For the first time, the South London Fellowship Band, under the direction of Major George Whittingham, participated in a special community event when they participated in the Presentation Parade of the Metropolitan Police Volunteer Police Cadets on 14 April 2004.
