The Chicago Staff Band (Bandmaster William Himes) presented “Sounds of the Season”, its annual Thanksgiving concert, on 27 November 2010. Special guests for the evening included euphonium soloist Derick Kane and the Salvation Story Steel Orchestra.
On Saturday, 11 December 2010, the Solent Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Chris Kennett) returned to Hayling Island Community Centre to present its annual concert of Christmas music with the Hayling Island Choir (Musical Director David Cain). This year, the band and choir were joined by special guests, the Mengham Junior School Choir (Director Karyn Harris).

The National Capital Band (Bandmaster Dr. Steve Kellner) presented a Christmas Concert at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richmond, Virginia, on 4 December 2010.
On the weekend of 19 – 21 November 2010, Salvationists in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, were privileged to host the Rockford Temple Band from Rockford, Illinois. The band traveled to southern Ontario to take part in the Canadian Staff Band’s Fall Festival and to march in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade.
Bandmaster William Himes of the Chicago Staff Band was the special guest for events celebrating the 125th anniversary of the Boscombe Corps, 18 – 21 November 2010.
On 20 November 2010, a Youth Family Christmas Concert was held at the Igbobi Corps, Lagos, Nigeria.
The Salvation Army in Newark is currently conducting fund-raising for a building project, and the Derby Central Band (Bandmaster Alan Losh) contributed with a gospel concert held on Saturday, 13 November 2010.
To kick off its 2010 – 2011 season, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) visited Mountain Citadel in Hamilton, Ontario, on the weekend of 2 – 3 October 2010. The corps was celebrating its 20th anniversary as Mountain Citadel.
