For many years the Easter weekend at Boscombe has been a special time. This year, with special guests Staines Songsters and the leadership of Majors Paul and Jenine Main, proved to be a fitting continuation of a fine tradition.

Annual Band Weekend at Oshawa Temple
On the weekend of 31 March – 1 April 2012, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) visited Oshawa Temple for the corps’ annual band weekend.
LCFB at Barnet
The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Daws) has a close association with Barnet Corps. The concert held on Saturday, 31 March 2012, proved to be rather “cosy” with a large audience and the band within the small confines of the hall.`
Concert at Erdington
On Thursday, 29 March 2012, the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) exchanged its regular rehearsal for a concert at St. Margaret’s Church in nearby Erdington.
A Prelude to Easter at Boscombe
Following close on the heels of their visit to Lower Earley, the Boscombe Band(Bandmaster Dr. Howard J. Evans) provided a Sunday evening concert at Boscombe Corps. The chosen theme for the concert, held on 25 March 2012, was “A Prelude to Easter”.
Household Troops Visit Norwich at Easter
For many years, the Easter weekend at Norwich Citadel has been a special occasion. 2012 was no exception, with a visit from General Linda Bond. Under the leadership of Bandmaster Carl Saunders, the Household Troops Band came to share Easter Saturday with the General.
Boscombe Band at Lower Earley
The Boscombe Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Dr. Harold J. Evans) undertook its first “away” engagement of 2012 on 24 March with a visit to Lower Earley Corps (Reading).
Enfield Annual Festival 2012
Cornetist Thomas Fountain was the guest soloist at this year’s Annual Spring Festival held by the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) on 31 March 2012 at Enfield Baptist Church.
