The International Staff Band (Bandmaster Dr. Stephen Cobb) was in Cambridge for a ministry weekend, 27 – 28 April 2013, including a Saturday evening concert at the world-renowned Tattersall’s Sale Ring and Sunday services at Cambridge Citadel.
Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) made its first visit to Sale on 20 April 2013. After a welcome tea, the band played to a full hall with over 200 people in attendance. The festival offered a varied program, which boasted major works such as Resurgam (Eric Ball) and Fire in the Blood (Paul Lovatt-Cooper).
The Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) is saddened to announce the loss of one of its alumni, Lt.-Colonel William Kerr.
Cornet soloist Craig Kilgour was the special guest for the annual Spring Festival of the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry). The event, held on 6 April 2013 at Enfield Baptist Church, also featured the Enfield Citadel Songsters (Songster Leader Tina Shepherd).
On the weekend of 6 – 7 April 2013, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) traveled to Columbus, Ohio, as the guest band for the annual God and Country Concert.
The Easter 2013 weekend at Norwich Citadel had an international flavor with a much-anticipated visit from the Amsterdam West Band (Bandmaster Henk Dijkstra).
The West End Community Church, Bermuda, held its 22nd annual Gospel Arts Weekend on 17 – 18 March 2013, with special guest Sheldon Fox II from North Street Citadel.
