From the opening march, Montreal Citadel, to the closing march, Mighty to Save, the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Major George Whittingham) provided a varied and much-appreciated program on their 17th visit to Eastbourne Citadel on 13 July 2013.
On the weekend of 7 – 8 September 2013, Captains Martin and Leanne Cordner visited the Coventry City Corps, leading the corps band in a retreat on Saturday and leading worship at the corps on Sunday.
The National Capital Band (Bandmaster Dr. Steve Kellner) begins the 2013-2014 season with farewells, welcomes and changes in the cornet and horn sections.
Cherokee Brass (Bandmaster Michael Cash) toured Mountain Home, Arkansas, over the Labor Day weekend (30 August – 1 September 2013). The band played a series of concerts in the community, culminating in a worship service at Mountain Home Corps.
The National Capital Band (Bandmaster Dr. Steve Kellner) officially began its 2013 – 2014 season in its traditional fashion with a retreat at Camp Happyland. The members of the band gathered on the evening of Friday, 6 September 2013 for a time of musical and spiritual preparation for the upcoming season.
Bandmaster Nicholas Simmons-Smith’s first recording with the Southern Territorial Band is a wonderful blending of psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs in band arrangements that represent three generations of Salvationist composers.
