Castle Point Mayor’s Concert
This year’s concert, held on 15 March 2014 in the Hadleigh Temple hall, marked the first major event for Hadleigh Temple Band’s new Bandmaster, Marion Still.
Leslie Condon Celebration at Regent Hall
A capacity crowd was at Regent Hall on 8 March 2014 for a concert honoring the late Major Leslie Condon and benefiting the Leslie Condon Trust. Performers included Croydon Citadel Band, Regent Hall Songsters, trombone soloist Brett Baker and tuba soloist Les Neish.
Dance Music
This music is a suite in four movements. The ever-changing spirit of the dance is reflected in the contrasting styles of each movement, ranging from the gentle lullaby to more boisterous and lively moods.
Jubilo, Jubilo
Written in a lively Latin big-band style, this piece was written in 2013 for the Territorial Youth Band course in Bournemouth, England.
War Cry
Based on the song “Ever is the war cry”, this work was written as the opener for the New York Staff Band’s 125th anniversary concert in March 2012.
