SLFB Long Weekend in Blackpool and Carlisle

On the long weekend of 28 – 30 September 2018, the South London Fellowship Band (Conductor Darrell Scholes) visited the northwest of England, with events in Blackpool and Carlisle. Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Don Jenkins) returned to St. John’s, Smith Square, for this year’s Pre-Contest Festival. The concert featured James Fountain (cornet/trumpet) as guest soloist and Major Martin Cordner as compère, guest conductor, and featured composer.  Read more

The Ruddick Arts Centre, Edgbaston was the venue for the commencement of Birmingham Citadel Band’s 125th Anniversary celebrations on Saturday, 22 September 2018.
