Birmingham Citadel Band 125th Anniversary Gala
The Ruddick Arts Centre, Edgbaston was the venue for the commencement of Birmingham Citadel Band’s 125th Anniversary celebrations on Saturday, 22 September 2018. A weekend which, as it progressed, conjured up many happy memories of the band’s consistent ministry in Birmingham and further afield over the years.

Kintambo Band (Bandmaster Sergeant Henri Makanda Nkodia) shared the stage with the Matete Band (Bandmaster Sergeant Achille Ngombi) in the Kintambo hall on 19 August 2018, offering a praise and worship concert for the glory of God.

Birmingham Citadel Pre-Contest Concert
It is now sixteen years since the first invitation was given to the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) to provide a program of music in the foyer of Symphony Hall prior to the British Open Brass Band Championship. This year’s concert was on Saturday, 8 September 2018.
