The band began the Saturday concert with a fanfare section from Endless Praise. The program included a wide range of brass band literature, ranging from modern works such as Glorifico Aeternum to The Triumph of Peace, a classic tone poem from the pen of Eric Ball. The Band Chorus, under the direction of Major Thomas Mack, presented Sing Hallelujah. Solo items were performed by Derek Lance (trumpet), Tribute (Harold Burgmayer); Aaron VanderWeele (euphonium), Ochills (Robert Redhead), and vocalist James Anderson, who sang He’s Always Been Faithful.
The band returned to the First Congregational Church for Sunday worship, where the band’s Executive Officer, Lt.-Col. Gil Reynders gave the message of the morning. The band contributed to the worship experience with a number of items both before and during the service, including Make Me a Channel of Your Peace, In Perfect Peace, Solidarity, Amazing Love, Shadowed, Guardian of Our Way, and Saviour, Like a Shepherd. The Band Chorus also participated, singing I Can Hear Your Voice and Jesus Paid It All.
