The [bclink id=”1052″ target=”_blank”] held its annual concert to benefit [bclink id=”1081″ target=”_blank”] on 19 October 2013. Special guests for the evening were euphonium soloist and instrument historian Charley Brighton, the Redland High School Choir and Chamber Choir and the [bclink id=”2009″ target=”_blank”] (Bandmaster Norman Cassells).
This year’s concert set a new record for the amount raised. The sum of £4600 was received on the evening and, with a further £909 in gift aid claims, the event produced a spectacular £5509 for the current project.
The funds will be set aside to support the construction of a new health center and dispensary attached to the Maiani Corps. It is hoped that there will be sufficient funding to complete this project by the end of 2014.
An audio recording of the evening is available on the Fellowship Band web site.
