On 10 September 2016, [bclink id=”1001″ target=”_blank”] (Bandmaster Bob Gray) made their annual visit to the Salvation Army [bclink id=”2760″ target=”_blank”]. This event was intended to be held in a garden party setting. Sadly, the weather did not cooperate, so the event was held in the lounge of the residence. It was estimated that this is the tenth year that the band has attended this event.
A light program consisting of many well-loved Salvation Army songs, hymns, and marches was enjoyed by the residents. The program was split into two halves with a lunch break in between. The band commended the staff of the residence for a wonderful spread of refreshments with a hot and cold main course and desserts to follow.
