The [bclink id=”2674″ target=”_blank”] of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Per-Erik Petersen) from Norway will be in the United States 6 – 13 October 2017, performing in three upper Midwestern states.

The tour will begin in Rockford, Illinois, where the band will be a featured group at the Scandinavian Jubilee at [bclink id=”3178″ target=”_blank”]. The Jubilee will be held from Friday, 6 October through Sunday, 8 October. On the evening of 8 October, the band will be in the Chicago area, giving a concert at [bclink id=”1755″ target=”_blank”].
On Tuesday, 10 October, the band will perform in a second state as they give a concert at [bclink id=”3179″ target=”_blank”] in Wisconsin. The next night they will be in yet a third state as they travel to [bclink id=”3180″ target=”_blank”] in Minnesota for another concert. The band’s last performance on the tour will be back in Wisconsin, as they participate in a soldier’s rally in Oak Creek on Thursday, 12 October.
During the band’s preparation for this tour, they were fortunate to have Bandmaster Kevin Larsson visit Stavanger for a week in August. Larsson also wrote a major piece for the band, entitled Hope. This piece is part of the repertoire for the tour.
We feel so blessed and grateful for this opportunity to share God’s wonderful message with our music. We look forward to meet and get new friendships during our stay.
