18th Annual Salvationist Star Search

As a part of the 2002 Commissioning weekend, the [bclink id=”1231″ target=”_blank”] held the eighteenth annual Salvationist Star Search. Over 500 people from all parts of the territory took part in the competitions. Held this year at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the event saw competition in a number of musical, dramatic and gospel arts categories, including brass, piano and vocal soloists, singing companies, youth choruses, youth bands, timbrel brigades and mime groups. Members of the [bclink id=”943″ target=”_blank”] supplemented the event, with several participating as leaders of various competing groups and others as session leaders. At the conclusion of the event, 900 people attended the Awards Ceremony in the Sheraton’s Diamond Court Ballroom.

NYSB Massachusetts Ministry Weekend

Brass for GOSH Launched

The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Rudd) launched their latest recording with a concert at Regent Hall on 17 November 2018. Just under 300 people were in attendance for a fantastic night of music-making, raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. All of the profits realized by Citadel Promotions, the producers, will benefit the hospital charity, leading to the title of the recording, Brass for GOSH. Read more
