Well-known brass band composer David Catherwood has launched a new web site featuring his compositions. [bclink id=”1541″ target=”_blank”] features compositions for adult and youth brass groups, choirs, and soloists.

Born in 1956, Catherwood is a native of Northern Ireland. He achieved his higher education at [bclink id=”1652″ target=”_blank”] in Belfast, where he still lives. He works as an educator in the music department of [bclink id=”1653″ target=”_blank”] in Belfast.
Catherwood is strongly associated with The Salvation Army, having many of his compositions (both instrumental and vocal) published in the Army’s music offerings. He plays trombone in the [bclink id=”951″ target=”_blank”], where he previously served as the Bandmaster from 1979 through 1989.
