Large Amount Raised at Fellowship Band Benefit Concert

On Friday, 21 March 2014, the Solent Fellowship Band (Bandmaster John Bird) presented a charity concert which, including donations received, raised £8,600 for a locally-based organization, the Second Chance Charity.

Solent Fellowship Band Completes Trilogy

The Solent Fellowship Band (Bandmaster John Bird) played the last of a trilogy of late autumn programs at Gosport on 10 Nov 2012. Once again, the band demonstrated a flexible approach to differing acoustics, having in recent weeks played in a 12th-century church, a large hall at a major corps and a more compact accommodation at a smaller corps.

Annual Concert at Portsmouth Citadel

Each autumn, the Solent Fellowship Band (Bandmaster John Bird) gives a Sunday evening concert at Portsmouth Citadel in appreciation of the corps allowing the use of the main hall and other facilities for rehearsals and the occasional social event.

Hayling Island Christmas Concert

On Saturday, 11 December 2010, the Solent Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Chris Kennett) returned to Hayling Island Community Centre to present its annual concert of Christmas music with the Hayling Island Choir (Musical Director David Cain). This year, the band and choir were joined by special guests, the Mengham Junior School Choir (Director Karyn Harris).

NYSB Massachusetts Ministry Weekend

On the weekend of 16 – 18 November 2018, the New York Staff Band (Bandmaster Derek Lance) traveled to the Massachusetts Division for a ministry weekend that included stops in Worcester, Canton, Boston, and Brockton. Brass for GOSH Launched

The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Rudd) launched their latest recording with a concert at Regent Hall on 17 November 2018. Just under 300 people were in attendance for a fantastic night of music-making, raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. All of the profits realized by Citadel Promotions, the producers, will benefit the hospital charity, leading to the title of the recording, Brass for GOSH. Read more
