Supporters of the Clarence Adoo Trust have announced that a new fundraising project will take place in 2017. The renowned Enfield Citadel Band, under the direction of guest conductor John Ward, will record a celebration of the music of Eric Ball. The featured soloist will be Kirsty Abbotts, principal cornet of Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band.

Enfield Band Sunday 2016
Following their Pre-Contest Festival the previous Friday evening, Enfield Citadel Band were back at Enfield Citadel on Sunday, 9 October 2016 for the traditional Band Sunday. The meeting was lead by Enfield Citadel commanding officer Major Andrew Gaudion, with the theme “Thanking God for Music”.
Enfield Citadel Band at Long Melford
Enfield Citadel Band opened their 2016/2017 season on 1 October 2016 with a concert in the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church, Long Melford. The band was under the guest leadership of Bandmaster Iain Parkhouse of the Croydon Citadel Band. The band was also pleased to have Derick Kane sitting in because of the absence of their usual principal euphonium.
Corry to Chicago
The Enfield Citadel Band announced on 6 September 2016 that its Bandmaster, Dr. Jonathan Corry, has relinquished his leadership of the band and will be taking up an appointment as Director of Music and Gospel Arts for the Chicago Metropolitan Division in the USA Central Territory. No successor was immediately named for the conductor’s post at Enfield.
Heritage Series Volume 6 – Music from the 1980s
The sixth installment in the International Staff Band’s series of Heritage recordings, this two-disc set includes a disc of new recordings and a disc of previous recordings, focusing on Salvation Army band music of the 1980s.

This new recording by Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) includes a DVD of the 1909 black and white silent movie The Salvation Army Lass, with added soundtrack composed by Dorothy Gates and played by Enfield Citadel Band.
Enfield and Divas Join for Rollason Benefit
The Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) joined with the vocal group The Dedicated Divas on 10 May 2014 for a concert in support of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. The concert was held at St. Andrew’s Parish Church, Chelmsford.
Enfield Citadel Band at Rushden
The Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) performed at Rushden Corps on Saturday, 22 March 2014. The varied program featured three of the band’s soloists and a wide range of items, from old classics to recent works.
