On Sunday, 28 October 2018, the Kintambo Band (Bandmaster Henri Makanda Nkodia) had the privilege of being on duty at the Menkao Post in the Plateau District (the eastern part of the city of Kinshasa) for the district’s tenth anniversary Thanksgiving service.
On 27 October 2018, Heritage Brass (Bandmaster Gary Dean) celebrated its 30th anniversary with special guest William Himes and the O’Neill Chamber Choir (Leader Erin Collins).

Clydebank Corps held celebrations of its 123rd anniversary on the weekend of 29 – 30 October 2016. The weekend featured a Saturday musical festival from Bellshill Band (Bandmaster Yvonne Ferguson) and Sunday meetings around the themes “Clydebank – Proud Past”, “Army of the Present”, and “Challenge of the Future”.
On 22 October 2016, the night after a successful concert at Hayling Island, the Solent Fellowship Band held a dinner in celebration of the band’s 20th anniversary. Some 56 or so current and former members, with their partners, sat down in lovely surroundings at the Southampton Sholing Corps.
Saturday, 22 October 2016, marked the arrival of Boscombe Band (Bandmaster Howard J. Evans) at Norwich Citadel for the 134th anniversary celebration weekend of Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow). This was a return visit, as the Norwich band had enjoyed a weekend in Bournemouth the previous year.
Brilliant autumn sunshine greeted Salvationists and friends as they traveled from across South Wales and gathered in Tenby on 22 October 2016 to celebrate 130 years of the work of the Salvation Army in that town. Morriston Citadel Songsters (Songster Leader Chris Lear) and South and Mid Wales Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Adrian Browning) provided musical support for the day.
The Belfast Temple Band (Bandmaster Jack Burch) celebrated its 126th anniversary on 8 October 2016 in fine form with special guests the Grosvenor Chorale (Conductor Edward J. Craig). The compère was one of the band’s own, Wilfred Pyper.
Lt.-Colonel Trevor Davis was the special guest leading the Sheffield Citadel Band’s 135th Anniversary Reunion Weekend, with a Saturday evening festival and Sunday morning worship.
On the last Saturday of June 2016, the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) were guests at the Zutphen Corps, to offer a music festival in celebration of the corps’ 125th anniversary.
