The Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) visited Scotland for a ministry weekend in Bellshill, 18 – 19 April 2015. The weekend consisted of a festival concert on Saturday evening and a worship service and afternoon concert on Sunday.
The Bellshill Corps in Scotland welcomed the Sunderland Monkwearmouth Band (Bandmaster Joe Beattie) for the weekend of 10 – 11 May 2014. The visit featured a Saturday night music festival, Sunday morning worship and a Sunday afternoon praise and Salvation meeting.
Friday Night Is Music Night was the first concert held in the new Bellshill Salvation Army hall, on 25 April 2014, featuring the Bellshill Band (Bandmaster Yvonne Ferguson) and the Callander Chorale (Musical Director Ian Milligan).
The Bellshill Corps (Scotland) opened its new hall on the weekend of 5 – 6 April 2014, with a music festival featuring all of the corps music sessions and the vocal trio Live to Tell.
The Young People’s Band and Singing Company from the Bellshill Corps were invited to conduct the Sunday morning worship services at the East Kilbride Corps on 28 November 2004.
