Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) was delighted to return to the magnificent auditorium which is Symphony Hall in Birmingham on 15 December 2013 for the annual Christmas with the Salvation Army concerts.

The Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) celebrated its 120th anniversary on 21 September 2013 with a concert featuring trumpet virtuoso Philip Cobb.
The Birmingham Citadel Band held its annual band weekend 7 – 8 September 2013. As usual, the weekend coincided with the British Open brass band contest.

The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Daws) brought its 2011 season to a close with a successful visit to Symphony Hall, Birmingham, playing for an audience of 1,500 gathered for the Extra Care Charitable Trust 2011 World in Union Concert. The event also included other special guests including Tom O’Connor, Rustie Lee, Gary Lovini and Kirsty Michele Anderson among other well-known artists.
Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Graham Lamplough) welcomed the Sheffield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Keith Wileman) on the weekend of 2 – 3 October 2010, for the “return leg” of an exchange between the bands.
The weekend of 4 – 5 September 2010 was a busy and important time for the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Graham Lamplough). The weekend included special services for Band Sunday and a pre-contest performance at Symphony Hall on Saturday morning.
A thoroughly enjoyable weekend was experienced when the Cardiff Canton Band, under the baton of Bandmaster Carl Saunders, visited Birmingham Citadel, 24 – 25 April 2010.
Fifty members and chaperones of the National Capital & Virginia Division’s Youth Band and Timbrels (DYB) gathered at Camp Happyland, near Culpeper, Virginia, on the evening of Wednesday, 23 March 2005 to begin a five-day journey through the Deep South.
