Birmingham Citadel Returns to Tamworth

For a third year the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) returned to Tamworth to play at Coton Green Church on 5 October 2011. The band is always well-received in the modern and purpose-built Evangelical Church and was delighted to return for the 2011 season.

Retirement of Bandmaster Graham Lamplough

Bandmaster Graham W. Lamplough of the Birmingham Citadel Band was formally retired on 12 June 2011, after several decades of service as a Salvation Army music leader on both the corps and divisional levels.

Pre-Tour Festival in Birmingham

Concert at St. Luke’s, Birmingham

Birmingham Citadel Band at Musician’s Councils

The Adrian Boult Hall at Birmingham Conservatoire was the setting for the West Midlands Divisional Musician’s Councils. On 6 February 2011, the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Graham Lamplough) were invited to be the “duty band” for the afternoon session.

NYSB Massachusetts Ministry Weekend

On the weekend of 16 – 18 November 2018, the New York Staff Band (Bandmaster Derek Lance) traveled to the Massachusetts Division for a ministry weekend that included stops in Worcester, Canton, Boston, and Brockton. Massachusetts Divisional Music Director (DMD) Matthew Luhn and his team organized the events of the weekend. Read more

Brass for GOSH Launched

The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Rudd) launched their latest recording with a concert at Regent Hall on 17 November 2018. Just under 300 people were in attendance for a fantastic night of music-making, raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. All of the profits realized by Citadel Promotions, the producers, will benefit the hospital charity, leading to the title of the recording, Brass for GOSH. Read more
