Regent Hall Remembrance Sunday

Every year, on Remembrance Sunday, Regent Hall Corps is privileged to represent the Salvation Army UK Territory at the Cenotaph in Whitehall. Following an impressive march through the streets of London, the corps holds a short service of remembrance for those who gave their lives in the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts. Although this is an annual event, each year has its own emphasis. This year, the nation is commemorating the outbreak of World War I.   Read more

Maidstone Remembrance Sunday

On a busy Remembrance Sunday, the Maidstone Band (Bandmaster Nigel Yalden) led the march to the cenotaph, took part in the services there, took part in further services at Brenchley Gardens, and provided music for services at the Royal British Legion Village in Aylesford, where a new Garden of Remembrance was opened.  Read more

Remembrance Weekend, 9 – 10 November 2013, was a memorable one at Regent Hall Corps. In addition to the long-anticipated visit of the Sunderland Millfield Songsters (Songster Leader Peter Laing), the weekend also featured the annual march to the National Cenotaph in Whitehall.  Read more

Boscombe Remembrance

The morning of Sunday, 11 November 2012 was crisp and bright as once again the Boscombe Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Dr. Howard J. Evans) led the parade of veterans to the cenotaph for the Remembrance Day service.   Read more
