The Boscombe Band (Bandmaster Dr. Howard J. Evans) held its first concert of the year on 15 February 2013, in conjunction with the Bournemouth Male Voice Choir (Musical Director Mark Burstow). The concert was organized by Pokesdown Corps as a fundraiser for The Big Collection.

On Sunday evening, 25 September 2010, the Boscombe Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Dr. Howard J. Evans) visited Winchester to give a concert in the United Church.
