Norwich Citadel Band Visit to Leicester

A leisurely drive by car on Saturday, 29 October 2016, took members of the Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow) to Wigston, Leicester where they were welcomed at Leicester South Corps for a ministry weekend consisting of a Saturday evening concert, worship services on Sunday morning, and a second musical meeting on Sunday afternoon.

1966 and All That

On 16 July 2016, Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow) took part in “1966 and all that”, a special occasion marking 50 years since the band performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall. Joining Norwich Citadel for the celebratory concert were Diss Band (Bandmaster Iain Sturgeon) and Norfolk Fellowship Brass (Bandmaster David Woodrow).

Harvest Festival in Carleton Rode

Concert in Blofield by Norwich Citadel Band

The Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Douglas Beattie) performed at the parish church of St. Andrew and St. Peter in Blofield on 22 April 2006. This represented the fourth or fifth time that the band has played in this particular church, located just a few miles from Norwich.

Norwich Citadel Benefit Concert in Diss

The Salvation Army band and songster brigade from the Norfolk border town of Diss will be traveling to Sweden on a short trip later this year. To help support this effort, the Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Douglas Beattie) gave a concert on 11 March in Diss.

Norwich Citadel Busy at End of Season

NYSB Massachusetts Ministry Weekend

On the weekend of 16 – 18 November 2018, the New York Staff Band (Bandmaster Derek Lance) traveled to the Massachusetts Division for a ministry weekend that included stops in Worcester, Canton, Boston, and Brockton. Brass for GOSH Launched

The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Rudd) launched their latest recording with a concert at Regent Hall on 17 November 2018. Just under 300 people were in attendance for a fantastic night of music-making, raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. All of the profits realized by Citadel Promotions, the producers, will benefit the hospital charity, leading to the title of the recording, Brass for GOSH. Read more
