SASF Band Visit to National Capital and Virginia Division
On the weekend of 27 – 28 October 2018, the Salvation Army Student Fellowship (SASF) Band (Bandmaster Nathan Miller) from Asbury University visited the National Capital and Virginia (NCV) Division, with events in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC.

National Capital Band in Northern Virginia

Highest Praise – National Capital and Virginia Music Councils (Part 1)
The Southern Territorial Band (Bandmaster Nick Simmons-Smith) (STB) and Territorial Creative Arts Ensemble (Director Bethany Farrell) (TCAE) toured the National Capital and Virginia (NCV) Division, Wednesday 12 – Saturday 16 October 2016, with the featured event the Music Councils, entitled “Highest Praise”, held at Camp Happyland. Steadily Forward March! in Alexandria
On Sunday afternoon, 2 October 2016, the National Capital Area Command (NCAC) held a Soldier’s Rally at the Alexandria Citadel Corps. A wide variety of music and creative arts groups from around the area were featured, anchored by the National Capital Band (Bandmaster Dr. Steve Kellner). The theme of the rally was “Steadily Forward March!”, with the program being divided into sections focusing on the past, present, and future of the Salvation Army.
National Capital Band Retreat and Personnel Changes
The National Capital Band (Bandmaster Dr. Steve Kellner) began their 2016 – 2017 season in their traditional fashion, with a spiritual and musical retreat held at Camp Happyland in Central Virginia.

Tidewater Ministry Weekend
The National Capital Band (Bandmaster Dr. Steve Kellner) traveled to the Tidewater area of Virginia on 4 November 2011 for a ministry weekend which included a kettle kick-off, music for a fashion show, a youth band clinic, an evening festival, Sunday morning worship and an afternoon praise concert.
