ISB Begins Rehearsals for New Season

NYSB Conductor and Personnel Changes

At the beginning of the 2016-2017 season, the New York Staff Band welcomes a new Bandmaster for the first time in nearly a quarter-century as Ronald Waiksnoris retires and Derek Lance takes up the baton. A number of player changes have also occurred as the season begins.  Read more

Corry to Chicago

Bandmaster Dr. Jonathan Corry

The Enfield Citadel Band announced on 6 September 2016 that its Bandmaster, Dr. Jonathan Corry, has relinquished his leadership of the band and will be taking up an appointment as Director of Music and Gospel Arts for the Chicago Metropolitan Division in the USA Central Territory. No successor was immediately named for the conductor’s post at Enfield.  Read more

London Citadel Band Personnel Changes

As always, the London Citadel Band (Bandmaster John Lam) enjoyed an influx of new talent in the fall as students arrive at Western University for post-secondary studies. In addition, some former members have returned to again take up their seats in the ensemble.  Read more

Farewells from the Canadian Staff Band

As is often the case at the end of a season, some farewells were in order. At the end of their 47th season, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) said goodbye to three stalwarts of the band with a combined 75 years of contributions to the ministry.  Read more
