It is now sixteen years since the first invitation was given to the Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) to provide a program of music in the foyer of Symphony Hall prior to the British Open Brass Band Championship. This year’s concert was on Saturday, 8 September 2018.

ISB Begins Rehearsals for New Season
The ISB (Bandmaster Dr. Stephen Cobb) began rehearsals for the new season on 5 September 2018. The band welcomed some new members, acknowledged the service of departing members, and welcomed visitor and former member Major George Whittingham.

Twentieth Annual Concert at West Wickham
The annual program at Emmanuel United Reformed Church, West Wickham, by the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Darrell Scholes) is always an occasion looked forward to – by the band, members of the church and by the many friends of the band. This year’s concert was held on Friday, 13 March 2015, with guest cornet soloist Ryan Coates from Croydon Citadel and guest vocalists, the Atkinson Sisters.
20 Years for South London Fellowship Band
On the weekend of 27 – 28 September 2014, the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Darrell Scholes) celebrated its 20th anniversary. The weekend festivities were held at Bromley Temple Corps in front of an audience made up of former members and friends made over the last twenty years.
17th Visit to Eastbourne for SLFB

19th Visit to West Wickham
On the evening of 15 March 2013, the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Major George Whittingham) made its 19th visit to Emmanuel United Reformed Church, West Wickham. The concert featured young cornet soloist Thomas Nielsen.

The weather for the evening was rather cold and damp on 10 November 2012, but the visit of the South London Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Major George Whittingham) to St. John the Evangelist Church in Penge was warm and inspiring.
