The weekend of 27 – 28 October 2018 saw the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) travel almost as if they were on tour. The band went to Winschoten, Oude Pekela, and Veendam, in the far northeast of the country, almost in Germany. The Winschoten Corps was celebrating its 130th anniversary and had invited the Staff Band to participate in the festivities.
The Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) had high expectations for their first ministry weekend after the summer break. In addition to the usual concerts and worship opportunities, the band was privileged to provide music for the wedding of one of its members.
On the last weekend of October 2015, the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) visited the corps in Lelystad for a ministry weekend. The weekend included an outdoor concert at the town hall, a worship service at the corps on Sunday morning, and two concerts.
