Williamsburg Journey for National Capital Band
On Friday, 17 March, the National Capital Band (Bandmaster James B. Anderson) set off on their first ministry weekend of 2006. Journeying south to the city of Williamsburg, Virginia, the band participated in the local Salvation Army’s Annual Meeting on Friday evening, performed three outdoor concerts on Saturday, and played for two Sunday morning services at the New Town Methodist Church.
Great American Brass Band Festival 2005
The 17th annual Great American Brass Band Festival was held in Danville, Kentucky 10 – 12 June 2005. The festival, held primarily on the campus of Centre College, is hosted by the Advocate Brass Band, based in Danville.
Centenary Celebrated in Lynchburg
On the first weekend of April 2005, the National Capital Band (Bandmaster James Anderson) visited the central Virginia town of Lynchburg to help the local Salvation Army corps celebrate its centenary.

4th Annual Community Carol Concert in DC Metro
The National Capital Band (Bandmaster James B. Anderson) hosted its fourth annual Community Carol Concert on 5 December 2004. In addition to the band, this year’s event featured The Swansonettes (Director Elizabeth Gephardt), the DC Metro Timbrel Brigade (directed by Elsie Morris), and junior vocalist Francisca Idio from the Fairfax Corps.
Richmond Weekend for National Capital Band
