On the weekend of 30 April – 1 May 2011, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) was privileged to participate in the 125th anniversary celebrations at Listowel, a small-town corps in rural Ontario with a vibrant history and a strong musical heritage.

Brass Celebration at Mountain Citadel
On a recent Saturday, some 150 musicians combined for what was billed as a “Brass Celebration”. Included as special guests were the Canadian Staff Band, and from New York, trumpet virtuoso Derek Lance.
