Held this year on 9 October, the annual Expressions concert at Regent Hall is the brainchild of Bandmaster Steve Hanover. It heralds the start of the Brass Arts Festival, which complements the National Brass Band Championships. This year, guests for the evening were Majors Leonard and Heather Ballantine, and Charlie Green, vocal soloist.

Regent Hall’s carol concert is arguably one of the most exciting events on its calendar. It has been so popular that there are two performances, both attended by near-capacity audiences. Concerts for 2013 were held on 15 December.
Regent Hall Band began its Christmas season with an annual event in Trafalgar Square and the National Association of Women’s Clubs Carol Concert.
Remembrance Weekend, 9 – 10 November 2013, was a memorable one at Regent Hall Corps. In addition to the long-anticipated visit of the Sunderland Millfield Songsters (Songster Leader Peter Laing), the weekend also featured the annual march to the National Cenotaph in Whitehall.
For the 66th consecutive year, the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) presented a Pre-Contest Festival. Held on 19 October 2012, at St. John’s, Smith Square, London, the concert featured guest soloist David Childs.
Southend Citadel Corps hosted a “Two-in-One” Festival on Saturday, 22 October 2005. The concert featured two bands: the South London Fellowship Band (conducted by Major George Whittingham) and the London NE Divisional Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Geoffrey Jordan).
The weekend of 6 – 7 March 2004 saw the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) make a short journey to London, Ontario.
