The Salvation Army in Nijverdal, a small town near Almelo and Enschede in the eastern part of the Netherlands, celebrated its 125th anniversary on 3 May 2014 with a concert featuring the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) and the local gospel choir Shine.
On the last weekend of March 2014, the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) was in the southwest of the Netherlands, in the beautiful seaside cities of Middelburg and Vlissingen.
The Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) was in The Hague, the residence of the King and Queen of the Netherlands, on the weekend of 23 – 24 November 2013 as part of the Haaglanden Annual Music Festival.
The annual National Music Festival in the Netherlands featured outdoor performances, a concert and the inauguration of the new National Youth Band.
On the weekend of 28 – 29 April 2012, the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) had a busy ministry weekend in Rotterdam, including open-air events, an evening festival and worship services at Rotterdam South Corps.
The Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) traveled to Emmeloord, Kampen and Urk on the last weekend of March 2012. The Salvation Army has many activities in this area and the presence of the Staff Band gave a big publicity boost.
The Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) had a special and very successful weekend, 25 – 26 February 2012.
On the weekend of 24 – 25 September 2011, the Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf J. Ritman) visited the Goes Corps. The weekend included the opening of a new Salvation Army center in St. Maartensdijk and an evening concert and Sunday worship at Goes Corps.
