Saturday, 22 October 2016, marked the arrival of Boscombe Band (Bandmaster Howard J. Evans) at Norwich Citadel for the 134th anniversary celebration weekend of Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow). This was a return visit, as the Norwich band had enjoyed a weekend in Bournemouth the previous year.
On an unseasonably warm weekend, 24 – 25 October 2014, members of the Norfolk Fellowship Brass (Conductor David Woodrow) gathered for recording sessions. The venue was Mile Cross Methodist Church, Norwich, a sizable building with a good, lively acoustic.
Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow) had a most successful weekend visit to Sheffield Citadel, 5 – 6 April 2014. The ministry weekend included a Saturday evening festival, Sunday morning worship and a Sunday afternoon concert.
A recent concert to benefit the annual Toys and Tins Appeal organized by the Salvation Army and BBC Radio Norfolk was held in the magnificent Norwich Cathedral on Friday, 11 October 2013.
Sunday, 21 July 2013, saw the Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow) travel to the north Norfolk coast to spend an evening with old friends at Sheringham Corps.
Saturday, 6 October 2012 saw the Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow) give a concert at the Parish Church as part of the Harvest Festival at Carleton Rode.
The Toy and Tins concert held on Friday, 21 September 2012, at the Halls in Norwich (formerly known as St. Andrew’s Hall) featured the Norwich Citadel Band (Bandmaster Richard Woodrow), the Broadland Singers (Conductor Carol Tims) with harp soloist Zoe Rasmussen and organist Patrick Hawse.
