Perth Fortress Visits Geraldton

On 11 August 2018, the Perth Fortress Band (Bandmaster Matthew Barker) and Timbrels journeyed north for a minstry weekend in combination with the Geraldton Corps and the Geraldton City Brass Band. The events included a joint rehearsal and concert with Geraldton City Brass Band on Saturday, participation in the Sunday morning services at Geraldton Corps, a march of witness along the Geraldton foreshore, and a concert at the shore on Sunday afternoon.

The Amsterdam Staff Band (Bandmaster Olaf Ritman) spent its April ministry weekend in various towns, including Leiden, Vlaardingen, and Rijnsburg. The band performed an outdoor concert, an evening festival, and split into three ensembles to participate in Sunday worship at the Gouda, Maassluis, and Leiden corps.

Staff Band Weekend in San Juan

The New York Staff Band (Bandmaster Derek Lance) arrived in Puerto Rico in the early hours of Friday, 17 February 2017, for a weekend of ministry. The weekend included an outdoor concert in Old San Juan shared with the Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands Youth Band, working with young musicians at the Guayama Kroc Center, and Sunday morning worship at San Juan Central Corps.

Brass for GOSH Launched

The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Rudd) launched their latest recording with a concert at Regent Hall on 17 November 2018. Just under 300 people were in attendance for a fantastic night of music-making, raising funds for the Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) Charity. All of the profits realized by Citadel Promotions, the producers, will benefit the hospital charity, leading to the title of the recording, Brass for GOSH. Read more
