The London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster David Daws) was pleased to contribute to a building fund event at Reading Central Corps, supported by the Reading Central Songsters, in June 2012.

The Reading Central Corps hosted the 27th annual Civic Carol Concert at the Hexagon Theatre on 26 November 2005. This is a major community event, with two performances attended by a combined 2,400 persons and this year raised over £12,000 for the benefit of several charities.
On Friday, 11 November 2005, the Troops gathered at the Reading Central corps hall for a concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of the “new” band.
The Reading Central Band (Bandmaster Paul Mortlock), the London Central Fellowship Band (Bandmaster Roland Cobb) and Australian piano virtuoso Janelle Ivors joined together on 28 February 2004, for a concert in support of Salvationist missionaries in Zimbabwe.
For the 25th consecutive year, the Reading Central Corps of the Salvation Army organized a Civic Carol Concert. The two performances, held on 29 November 2003 at the The Hexagon, had a combined audience of over 2,500.
