Supporters of the Clarence Adoo Trust have announced that a new fundraising project will take place in 2017. The renowned Enfield Citadel Band, under the direction of guest conductor John Ward, will record a celebration of the music of Eric Ball. The featured soloist will be Kirsty Abbotts, principal cornet of Carlton Main Frickley Colliery Band.

Recording Sessions for Birmingham Citadel Band
Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) has been privileged to make several recordings in recent years, and the lovely building of St. Michael’s Church in Boldmere was the setting for their latest sessions, held 30 September – 1 October 2016.
Recording Sessions in Toronto
In April 2015, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) once again held recording sessions at St. Anne’s Anglican Church in Toronto. The band will be releasing a new Christmas recording, entitled “Fanfare and Celebration for the Birth”, later in the year.
“Fighting for the Lord” Recording Sessions
At the end of February 2015, the New York Staff Band (Bandmaster Ronald Waiksnoris) completed a recording which will be used for their 2015 tour of the United Kingdom and the Boundless Congress, entitled Fighting for the Lord.
“Out of Norfolk” Sessions for Norfolk Fellowship Brass
On an unseasonably warm weekend, 24 – 25 October 2014, members of the Norfolk Fellowship Brass (Conductor David Woodrow) gathered for recording sessions. The venue was Mile Cross Methodist Church, Norwich, a sizable building with a good, lively acoustic.
Recording Sessions for Birmingham Citadel
The Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) had three recording sessions in two days, 10 – 11 October 2014, for a new recording with is due out in December 2014. This recording is a mix of old and new, as the band recorded established classic repertoire from Dean Goffin and Bramwell Coles alongside new music from the pens of Paul Sharman and Martin Cordner.
Recording Sessions in Toronto
The Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) held recording sessions on 2 – 5 April 2014 at St. Anne’s Anglican Church in Toronto. The new recording, entitled Solo Flight, features a number of non-Staff Band soloists from throughout the Canada and Bermuda Territory.
