To kick off their 45th season, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) was privileged to visit North Toronto Corps on 5 – 6 October 2013, as a part of a year-long celebration of the corps centenary.
On the weekend of 2 – 3 February 2013, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) visited the Erin Mills Corps in Mississauga, Ontario.
To kick off its 2012 – 2013 season, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) visited Red Deer, Alberta on the weekend of 13 – 14 October 2012. The occasion was the 100th anniversary of the Red Deer corps.
On Saturday, 2 June 2012, Salvationists and friends, including many Canadian Staff Band alumni, gathered at Toronto’s Scarborough Citadel for the Staff Band’s 43rd Anniversary Festival, featuring trumpet virtuoso Jens Lindemann.
On Saturday, 14 April 2012, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) presented a concert at the St. Lawrence Center of the Arts, Toronto. This concert was a part of the annual Festival of Brass sponsored by the Hannaford Street Silver Band.
On the weekend of 31 March – 1 April 2012, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster John Lam) visited Oshawa Temple for the corps’ annual band weekend.
On the weekend of 19 – 21 November 2010, Salvationists in Toronto and Hamilton, Ontario, were privileged to host the Rockford Temple Band from Rockford, Illinois. The band traveled to southern Ontario to take part in the Canadian Staff Band’s Fall Festival and to march in the Toronto Santa Claus Parade.
The Salvation Army in Ottawa, national capital of Canada, celebrated 120 years of service in the city in 2005. Part of the observance of this anniversary was a weekend visit from the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward), which took place 5 – 6 November 2005.
In a departure from their normal style of ministry, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) visited the York Mills Collegiate Institute in Toronto on Wednesday, 26 October 2005.
On 1 – 2 October 2005, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) began their 2005 – 2006 season with a journey to the Quinte Bay region of Ontario for a weekend at Belleville Citadel Corps.
