The Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) and Enfield Citadel Songsters (Songster Leader Tina Shepherd) presented their annual Spring Festival on 26 April 2014 at St. Andrews Plough Hill, Cuffley. Featured soloists were Ben Horton (trombone) and Emma Joy-Owen (vocal).
The Birmingham Citadel Band (Bandmaster Gavin Lamplough) joined Only Men Aloud at Symphony Hall on Thursday, 12 December 2013, as part of the choir’s 2013 Christmas tour of the UK.
On Monday evening, 25 November 2013, Regent Hall Band participated in the Salvation Army’s Annual Carol Concert at Royal Albert Hall. Other participants included the International Staff Songsters, vocalist Lee Mead, a timbrel brigade combining performers from Staines and Regent Hall, actress Hannah Gordon, worship group Takasa (whose eldest member is 95) and celebrity chef Brian Turner (a former Salvationist).
On 20 July 2013, the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry) gave its fifth annual sumer concert at Broxbourne Civic Hall, with the theme “Music from the Movies”. Special guests for this year’s concert were the acclaimed vocal quartet ffourtissimo.
St. Andrews Church in Chelmsford was the venue for the 13th concert in aid of the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. Featured where the Enfield Citadel Band (Bandmaster Jonathan Corry), theater and television personality Ken Lodge, special guest vocalist Jared Littlewood and compère Sadie Nine from BBC Essex.
The annual “Expressions” concert at Regent Hall is now in its 10th year. The brainchild of Bandmaster Steve Hanover, “Expressions: Creativity in Concert” is held on the Thursday night preceding the Championship Section of the National Brass Band Championships.
