Hythe Salvation Army held its Summer Concert on 8 July 2017, featuring the Shepway Community Choir (Musical Director Wesley Carroll) and euphonium/trombone soloist Emilie Margott. The event raised £320 toward the cost of the corps’ youth visit to Kenya at Easter 2018.
The Hythe Band (Bandmaster Richard Carroll) traveled to International Headquarters to present a program outside of 101 Queen Victoria Street as a part of the City of London Open Day.
The tenth annual United Bands Concert in Hythe, held on 24 March 2012, featured the Hythe Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Richard Carroll, the Shepway Community Gospel Choir (Conductor Wesley Carroll) and the Hythe Town Concert Band.
On 2 April 2011, St. Leonard’s Church, Hythe, was packed out for the Annual Concert featuring the Hythe Town Concert Band (Harry Cook), the Shepway Community Gospel Choir (Wes Carroll), the Hythe Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Richard Carroll) and vocal soloist Adam Hall.
For the second year running, Salvation Army musicians from Hythe Corps, Kent were invited to provide a Christmas Spectacular by the Hythe Chamber of Commerce. The event took place at the Hythe Town Hall on Sunday, 11 December 2005.
The Hythe Band of the Salvation Army (Bandmaster Richard Carroll) brought the curtain down on a very successful bandstand season organized by the Hythe Town Council on 18 September 2005 with an excellent and varied program at the Oakland’s Bandstand.
