The Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) has announced the appointment of a new Executive Officer, effective 1 January 2006.
On 1 – 2 October 2005, the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) began their 2005 – 2006 season with a journey to the Quinte Bay region of Ontario for a weekend at Belleville Citadel Corps.
The Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward) and the International Staff Band (Bandmaster Stephen Cobb) have announced new appointments for the 2005 – 2006 season.
2005 marks the centenary of the the Salvation Army’s Tri-Town Corps, located in the northern Ontario town of New Liskeard. On the weekend of 4 – 5 June 2005, the Canadian Staff Band, under the direction of Bandmaster Kevin Hayward, journeyed to this scenic area to participate in the celebrations.
West Hill Citadel in Scarborough celebrated its 80th anniversary on the weekend of 9 – 10 April 2005, with special guests Commissioners (retired) Donald and Joyce Kerr and the Canadian Staff Band (Bandmaster Kevin Hayward).
The Canadian Staff Band announced on 30 March 2005 that Executive Officer Lt.-Col. Merv Leach would step aside because of health issues.
