Each week we feature a tune from the Two-Part Hymn Series. This week’s tune is All Through the Night. A classic Welsh tune, first known to have been published in 1764 under the title Ar Hyd y Nos, this tune has been used for many texts. Often presented as a lullaby, it is sometimes heard as a Christmas song. Part of the great folk tradition of Wales, it is a part of the standard repertoire of Welsh male-voice choirs.
